Escapes offers everyone the opportunity to discover their local independent cinema — for free!

Supported by the BFI, awarding National Lottery funding, Escapes is a nationwide initiative that makes cinema more accessible to all. Through regular free screenings at over 150 independent cinemas across the UK, Escapes invites you to experience the joy of cinema, from exciting previews of new indie gems and beloved blockbusters to powerful and thought-provoking documentaries. All screenings include descriptive subtitles to make sure everyone can enjoy the full experience. There’s something for everyone to enjoy.
