Supported by the BFI, awarding National Lottery funding, Escapes is a nationwide initiative that makes cinema more accessible to all. With screenings at a large number of independent cinemas across the UK, Escapes is your invitation to switch off and be transported into stories on the big screen. From exciting previews of new films and beloved blockbusters to thought-provoking documentaries, every visit offers an opportunity to escape. All screenings include descriptive subtitles, so everyone can enjoy the experience.

About relaxed screenings:
Relaxed screenings are designed to make the movie-watching experience more comfortable and enjoyable. These screenings are open to anyone who would appreciate a more flexible environment while enjoying the film. They include adjustments such as:
- Dimmed lighting
- Gentler volume
- No trailers or ads
- Space where you can move around or make noise as and when you need to
